locally grown wood in Oregon air dried for more than four years.

| Madrone Burl Bowl -
Madrone harvested in Oregon. Makes beautiful bowls, and
turns wonderfully. But, its a hard wood to prepare for
turning. The wood twists and cracks during drying unless
its boiled for about 4 hours. Then its beautiful to turn
on the lathe. |

| Unknown wood - Well, I
was told it was Monkey pod, but looking on line, this doesn't
look anything like that. A nice bowl with carved feet. |
